Always more, always faster, always further! This could be the leitmotif of today's economic players. Excesses of all kinds, linked to the deviant behaviour of some people, have caused our economic system to spiral out of control and interfere with its smooth running. By promoting excess, contemporary society seems to be working within an economic model of unlimited growth, which is of course absurd. Yet the unbridled activism of certain powerful socio-economic players creates emulators who in turn reproduce a management style poisoned by excessive power, excessive ambition, excessive productivity and greed.
