The upheaval of structures and systems is a reality that will continue. Companies and work organisation are no exception to this phenomenon. Managers are increasingly valued and given greater responsibility in new structures. They play an essential role as the link between management and the rank and file. In addition, they have the responsibility of supporting their colleagues through these changes in work organisation. These new challenges are very onerous for most managers, who have spent many years preparing for a different management style.
 
The aim of this article is to identify the main criteria for the success of management in the future, and in particular what we will call differentiated management, as well as to give some concrete ideas for the development of management.
